I took a little break from the many orders I need to fulfill, and decided to make some coffee cozies. Not only do they keep your hands warm while you're sipping hot coffee, but they're also more environmentally friendly than the paper sleeves you would normally get at Starbucks. :)
These are so easy to make, and take about a half hour (depending on how quickly you work.) It probably would take me less time if I didn't have two children to entertain. Since it's the season of sharing, I will even give you the pattern I used to make these little puppies.
Using a K hook & worsted yarn ( I used "I Love This Yarn" Acrylic yarn- found only at Hobby Lobby.)
CH 30
Join with a SL in the 1st SC (be careful not to twist it)
SC in each st across, sl st to 1st SC.
Keep following this pattern until desired size.
Super easy! With my Red & Green striped cozy, I added two snowflake scrapbook Brads. The other two obviously just have regular buttons sewn on. :) ENJOY!
